About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance, hardware setup, and software management for High Security Operations (HSO) users on upper-level LANs.
- Manage ticket queues and provide remote and local user support, including software installation and troubleshooting.
- Support a wide range of computer hardware, including servers, file storage subsystems, peripherals, and VTC equipment.
- Coordinate, connect, and troubleshoot Video Teleconferencing (VTC) meetings and equipment.
- Develop, install, test, and document commercial off-the-shelf software.
- Oversee conference room remodels from conception to completion, including vendor coordination and project planning.
- Research and evaluate data to identify process improvements for IT services.
- Partner with other IT service providers to ensure network and cybersecurity integration.
Requirements
- Associates degree plus minimum of 3 years of experience in a Computing End-User Support Environment, OR a high school diploma plus 5 or more years of relevant IT experience.
- Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Ivanti Neurons).
- Experience with Cisco and Crestron control panels.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across various operating systems and applications.
- Active DOE Q-level (or DoD Top Secret equivalent) and active SCI-level security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and peripherals.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs).
- Active Security+ certification.
- Experience with telephony terminology and managing vendor relationships.
- Prior experience working with Sandia infrastructure.
