Information Development Lead

Responsibilities

• Serve as a developmental editor for consumer print support documentation, ensuring content structure, flow, and logic.
• Optimize documentation for customer experience, usability, and AI readiness.
• Design and develop technical content including user guides, configuration guides, and troubleshooting content.
• Apply and maintain standards, templates, and reusable content assets using DITA and metadata.
• Collaborate with R&D, support, and marketing teams to align content with product development.
• Lead initiatives focused on AI usage in content creation and process improvements.
• Provide mentoring, guidance, and training to other content contributors.

Requirements

• Advanced subject matter expertise in information development and technical documentation.
• Strong background in developmental editing, structured content, and content quality management.
• Proven experience with DITA, metadata, and structured content principles.
• Ability to analyze complex product specifications to define content strategies.
• Degree in a related discipline or commensurate professional work experience.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and mentor others.
