Information Developer

Responsibilities

• Plan and produce instruction manuals and user guides for PlayStation products
• Perform Japanese localization and transcreation of English content
• Lead projects from planning and production to review and release
• Utilize DITA XML and Oxygen for structured authoring and information design
• Coordinate reviews and quality assurance with design, development, and support departments
• Collaborate with global teams in Japan, the US, and the UK
• Manage content and versions using Git
• Maintain quality based on glossaries, style guides, and documentation standards

Requirements

• Experience in technical writing or producing technical content like user guides
• Experience leading the full content lifecycle from planning to release
• English communication skills for collaborating with overseas teams via email, chat, and meetings
• Native-level Japanese proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience with DITA XML and structured authoring
• Experience using Oxygen XML Author or Oxygen XML Editor
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites/AEM Guides)
• Experience with content management and version control using Git
• Experience in information architecture or content structure design
• Experience improving production processes or content quality
• Experience working within global teams
