Information and Communications Technology Technician

Responsibilities

• Develop systems designs within the ICT discipline with minimal supervision
• Perform site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and final punch lists
• Prepare project deliverables according to client intent and scope of work
• Follow quality management processes and review deliverables for QA/QC
• Assist project managers with task planning, budgeting, and timeline management
• Identify and report potential roadblocks regarding project scope and schedule
• Apply knowledge of ICT design principles for backbone and horizontal cabling
• Interpret technical documents, specifications, and government regulations

Requirements

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in CAD, Bluebeam, and Revit
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and specifications
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related industry experience
• Experience with ICT design within Mission Critical Facilities
• Background knowledge of Data Center Facilities
• Understanding of TIA standards and BICSI best practices
