About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary accounting support for South and Southwest Florida Aggregate operations.
- Manage financial and management reporting, including monthly closing, forecast updates, and budget preparation.
- Perform inventory management tasks, including leading semi-annual spare part counts and calculating material variances.
- Support the Engineering department with project cost tracking and purchase requisitions.
- Facilitate procurement activities by working with vendors and the internal procurement organization.
- Assist in operational benchmarking and monthly performance analysis.
Requirements
- 1+ years of financial management experience.
- Proficiency in SAP and PC-based applications.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Solid understanding of the conceptual framework underlying financial accounting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
