Information Analysis and Statistics Specialist/Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Design and generate statistical reports and inputs to facilitate decision-making and identify potential alerts or deviations
• Identify irregular data behaviors or inconsistent information to implement preventive or corrective actions
• Generate budgets, forecasts, and data projections to support strategic objectives
• Prepare regulatory and technical reporting for both internal and external compliance with regulators
• Drive the implementation, innovation, and automation of reporting processes within the department
• Design and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track departmental progress

Requirements

• Completed degree in Actuarial Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Economics-Administration
• Experience in the Insurance or Financial sectors
• Proficiency in database administration and statistical analysis
• Strong skills in trend analysis and data projection using mathematical models
• Intermediate programming skills and experience with tools such as SQL, SAS, Access, Python, Tableau, or DataStudio
• Experience managing large databases and designing control dashboards

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of specific insurance lines such as Life, Health (GMM), Auto, or Property (Daños)
• Experience with Reinsurance, Auditing, or Internal Control
• Basic knowledge of Project Management and administrative planning/control
