Informatica Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter or similar tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements
• Design, optimize, and implement SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Work extensively with DB2 databases to ensure efficient and accurate data management
• Monitor ETL workflows to ensure optimal performance and resolve issues
• Conduct unit testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of ETL processes
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and database solutions
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience
• Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter or similar ETL tools
• Strong expertise in SQL for querying and data manipulation
• Hands-on experience with DB2 database management and optimization
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques
• Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning of ETL workflows and SQL queries
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with scheduling tools like Control-M or Autosys
