Informatica Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows, mappings, and sessions using Informatica PowerCenter
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient data integration solutions
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts
• Troubleshoot and debug ETL workflows, data integration issues, and performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and development teams
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes and database queries
• Maintain existing Informatica applications and infrastructure
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across processes
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL designs and workflows
• Support production environments by monitoring ETL jobs

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in Informatica development
• Strong hands-on experience in Informatica PowerCenter
• Good knowledge of ETL concepts and Data Warehousing architecture
• Strong expertise in SQL and relational databases
• Experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2
• Experience developing complex mappings, workflows, and transformations
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance optimization techniques in Informatica
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Exposure to data governance and data quality frameworks
