About the role
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with difficult or complicated bacterial, fungal, viral, and parasitic infections
- Provide high-acuity, high-complexity inpatient care in conjunction with hospital partners
- Support local and tele providers in managing a higher complexity of disease
- Work to decrease unnecessary patient transfers and increase hospital census
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing as an Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Valid Tennessee Medical License
