Infection Control Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair modern cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization systems for medical instruments
• Perform independent maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections on Getinge products
• Provide customer support and technical consultation regarding product service and medical device regulations (MPDG)
• Document all service activities and service orders accurately within the company system
• Collaborate closely with customers, internal sales teams, and field service departments
• Act as a qualified electrician for designated technical tasks

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician, Electrical, Medical, or Energy Electronics Technician
• Professional experience in service, medical technology, or electrical/electronic roles
• Strong knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and medical technology
• Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken)
• Basic IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office
• Valid Class B driver's license
• Ability to work independently, reliably, and with a high degree of flexibility
