About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify, screen, and evaluate the performance of infants and children using industry-standard measures
- Develop and ensure follow-up on treatment goals from the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) in the home
- Provide intervention in areas such as cognition, social behavior, perceptual motor skills, and learning styles
- Complete assessments, progress notes, and insurance verification reports within established timelines
- Maintain client records in compliance with Department of Public Health and Eliot protocols
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development/Education, Special Education, Psychology, or related field
- 300 hours of work in a licensed childcare program
- Professional experience working with children ages 0-5
- Valid Massachusetts drivers license
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Early Childhood Development/Education, Special Education, Psychology, or related field
- Bilingual in Portuguese, Arabic or Haitian Creole
