Industry Engagement Manager

Responsibilities

• Identify and grow a pipeline of business development opportunities, including contract research and collaborative grant funding
• Establish and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships to facilitate collaborations and manage expectations
• Lead internal decision-making processes within the OICD through detailed analysis, reporting, and strategic recommendations
• Exercise commercial judgement to drive research partnership growth and real-world impact

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency in a related field
• Understanding of research environments within university, government, or industry sectors, including funding opportunities
• Strong business development skills and commercial acumen
• Substantial project management experience with the ability to plan and implement projects to successful outcomes
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet strict deadlines
