Industriemechaniker

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, mechanical inspections, and condition assessments for industrial plant components
• Analyze wear patterns and sealing systems to derive appropriate maintenance measures
• Plan and execute lubrication tasks, oil changes, and oil sampling according to manufacturer and tribological specifications
• Identify fault patterns, perform root-cause analyses, and participate in continuous improvement processes
• Conduct vibration and thermography measurements for condition monitoring
• Support mechanical maintenance during shutdown periods and coordinate technical acceptance of external contractors
• Document all results and measures systematically in SAP PM and other digital systems

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an Industriemechaniker, Schlosser, Zerspanungsmechaniker, or a comparable qualification
• Multi-year experience in the mechanical maintenance of industrial plants
• Profound technical knowledge of bearings, seals, gears, couplings, conveyor technology, and tribology
• Strong technical understanding and ability to work independently
• Valid Class B driving license
• Proficiency in written and spoken German
• Flexibility for occasional on-call duty
