Industrial Wiring Technician II

Responsibilities

• Assist with the full assembly and wiring of electrical test equipment
• Use electrical schematics to determine component layout, wire types, and cable routing
• Mount components such as transformers, resistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits onto chassis panels
• Perform soldering of PC boards and other electrical connections
• Install finished assemblies or subassemblies into cases and cabinets
• Complete assembly of standard units including Control Pedestals, AC Dielectrics, and Wire Transformers
• Maintain a clean, safe, and functional workstation while following all quality and safety protocols

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (experience in Electronics or Electrical Technology preferred)
• 2-4 years of experience in industrial wiring
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics
• Experience with circuit board soldering and electrical wire routing
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
• Ability to use hand tools, crimpers, cutters, and powered hand tools
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical School training in Electrical Technology
