About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver innovative industrial wastewater and water treatment solutions
- Support or lead design of IWW collection, conveyance, and treatment projects
- Manage design-build and construction services, equipment selection, and procurement
- Lead technical teams to develop treatment options, cost estimates, and plans/specifications (PFDs, P&IDs)
- Write work plans, design reports, SOPs, and O&M manuals
- Provide inspection and troubleshooting support for existing IWW systems
- Design and implement bench-scale and pilot-scale treatability studies
- Participate in marketing, sales efforts, and proposal development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (ABET-accredited)
- 8-15 years of industrial wastewater design experience
- Experience as a professional-in-responsible-charge
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration/License in FL, TX, TN, or other states
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel up to 30%
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a pertinent engineering discipline
- Experience with instrumentation and controls/automation
