About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies according to technical specifications, tolerances, and internal procedures.
  • Read and interpret technical plans and assembly diagrams.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise technical training activities, including scheduling, logistics, and registration.
  • Design, adapt, and lead technical training sessions related to mechanical assembly.
  • Evaluate skill gaps and plan corrective actions in collaboration with supervisors.
  • Maintain up-to-date training records and measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Conduct quality control, adjustments, and defect corrections on mechanical components.
  • Support experts in functions such as Work Standard Instructions (WSI) and assembly qualification.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, PPE requirements, and site procedures.

Requirements

  • DEC in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong skills in mechanical assembly, blueprint reading, and tool usage.
  • Knowledge of handling practices, torque tightening, riveting, and assembly processes.
  • Proven ability in technical training animation and communication.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for team development.
  • High level of rigor, autonomy, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in a language other than French to facilitate international collaboration.
