Industrial Sports Medicine Professional

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site services at multiple site locations in San Diego, La Mesa and National City, CA
• Create and maintain positive relationships between Briotix Health and client contacts
• Provide education and training for individuals and groups focused on injury and illness prevention
• Provide onsite care and management of work and non-work-related discomforts
• Implement and follow Early Discomfort Management (EDM) programs
• Perform ergonomic assessments, functional employment testing, and return to work services
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using web-based systems

Requirements

• Education in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Physical Therapy, or Occupational Therapy
• Appropriate certifications or state license in good standing
• Current CPR/AED or BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• Demonstrated knowledge of musculoskeletal injury care
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and perform frequent standing or walking

Preferred Qualifications

• Ergonomic Certification or training
• 1-2 years experience in industrial ergonomics or industrial sports medicine
• Experience in job task analysis or functional employment testing
