Industrial Sports Medicine Professional

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site services at a warehouse location in Ridgeland, MS
• Create and maintain positive relationships with client contacts and employees
• Provide education and training focused on injury and illness prevention
• Manage work and non-work-related discomforts onsite
• Implement Early Discomfort Management (EDM) programs
• Perform ergonomic assessments, functional employment testing, and return-to-work services
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in web-based systems
• Adhere to OSHA Health and Safety practices and established First Aid standards

Requirements

• Education in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Physical Therapy, or Occupational Therapy
• Appropriate certifications or state license in good standing
• Current CPR/AED or BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• Demonstrated knowledge of musculoskeletal injury care
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent standing/walking

Preferred Qualifications

• Ergonomic Certification or training
• 1-2 years experience in industrial ergonomics or industrial sports medicine
• Experience with job task analysis or functional employment testing
