About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day security operations for cleared programs and facilities to ensure compliance with government requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (e.g., ICD 705), and other agency guidance.
  • Coordinate government audits, inspections, and self-inspections, including tracking findings and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with security POCs on personnel security lifecycle activities such as eligibility, indoctrination, and access control.
  • Maintain records in government systems including DISS, NISS, NBIS, and e-Apps.
  • Support the management of classified facility buildouts and operations, including SCIF and closed-area accreditation.
  • Develop and deliver security education programs covering Insider Threat, OPSEC, and annual refresher training.
  • Investigate and report security incidents, documenting findings and preventive actions for stakeholders.
  • Manage COMSEC accounts and perform document control transfers (DTO).
  • Provide security oversight at domestic sites and remain available to respond to security issues 24/7.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • 7+ years of progressive security experience supporting U.S. Government customers.
  • Demonstrated experience operating a cleared security program in compliance with NISPOM.
  • Hands-on experience with government security systems (DISS, NISS, NBIS, e-Apps).
  • Proficiency with ProWatch access control systems.
  • Knowledge of ICDs and SCIF/closed-area standards (ICD 705).
  • Ability to work full-time, on-site in a cleared facility environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting all facets of an Industrial Security Program.
  • Experience with document and media control/DTO duties.
  • Experience with SCIF/secure room buildouts and accreditation/validation activities.
  • Proven success scaling security operations in high-paced environments.
