About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a security team providing industrial security support at the Orange County office and across AST sites.
- Oversee the implementation of contractual security requirements utilizing 32 CFR Part 117, ICD-705, and DoDM 5205.07.
- Ensure the execution and sustainability of a compliant security program that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Manage leadership and managerial duties including performance development, career coaching, mentoring, and resource management.
- Conduct self-inspections of varying complexity to maintain program integrity.
- Travel domestically up to 10% as required.
Requirements
- University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- At least 6 years of experience leading and executing security processes and projects within classified environments.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top-Secret SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance required on day 1.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Subject matter expertise in ICD 705, 32 CFR Part 117, and DoDM 5205.07.
- Proficiency with government security databases such as DISS, NISS, SIMS, and JADE.
Preferred Qualifications
- COMSEC experience for a traditional account.
- Experience developing and implementing OPSEC and program protection plans.
- Industrial Security Professional (ISP) certification.
- Project or program management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Security/Risk Management, Government Policy, or a related field.
