Industrial Security Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a security team providing industrial security support at the Orange County office and across AST sites.
• Oversee the implementation of contractual security requirements utilizing 32 CFR Part 117, ICD-705, and DoDM 5205.07.
• Ensure the execution and sustainability of a compliant security program that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Manage leadership and managerial duties including performance development, career coaching, mentoring, and resource management.
• Conduct self-inspections of varying complexity to maintain program integrity.
• Travel domestically up to 10% as required.

Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• At least 6 years of experience leading and executing security processes and projects within classified environments.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top-Secret SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance required on day 1.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Subject matter expertise in ICD 705, 32 CFR Part 117, and DoDM 5205.07.
• Proficiency with government security databases such as DISS, NISS, SIMS, and JADE.

Preferred Qualifications

• COMSEC experience for a traditional account.
• Experience developing and implementing OPSEC and program protection plans.
• Industrial Security Professional (ISP) certification.
• Project or program management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Security/Risk Management, Government Policy, or a related field.
