Industrial Safety Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare, conduct, and facilitate hazard studies such as HAZID, HAZOP, AMDEC, What-if, and LOPA
• Ensure regulatory compliance (SEVESO, ICPE, ATEX, etc.)
• Identify safety barriers and evaluate effectiveness (SIL, alarms, protections)
• Model consequences of gas dispersion, thermal fire effects, or explosion overpressures using tools like PHAST, EFFECTS, or FLACS
• Propose risk reduction measures and manage safety action plans
• Provide technical support to project teams and conduct internal safety training
• Integrate safety into design phases (HSE by design)
• Contribute to fire protection engineering and operational permit management

Requirements

• Engineering degree specialized in process engineering, risk management, or industrial safety
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the field
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level)
• Strong methodology, rigor, and team spirit
