Industrial Safety Consultant

Responsibilities

• Prepare HAZOP studies, including document analysis, P&ID reviews, and hypothesis definition
• Facilitate or co-facilitate HAZOP sessions and formalize risk scenarios
• Draft reports and ensure the follow-up of all resulting recommendations
• Contribute to the update and consistency of Hazard Studies (Études de Dangers)
• Identify and formalize Risk Control Measures (MMR) and update relevant documentation
• Perform methodological reviews of ADR and TRA analyses
• Ensure technical quality of deliverables and monitor project schedules and actions
• Provide methodological support to guarantee regulatory compliance for all dossiers
• Coordinate with external engineering firms and escalate critical alert points

Requirements

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in Process Engineering, Industrial Risk, HSE, or an equivalent field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial safety within the refining, petrochemical, chemical, or energy sectors
• Significant experience working in SEVESO environments
• Proficiency in safety methodologies: HAZOP, HAZID, APR, ADR, TRA, and MMR
• Strong knowledge of ICPE and SEVESO regulations
• Understanding of refining processes and SIS / SIL safety instrumented systems
• Familiarity with hazardous phenomenon modeling (e.g., PHAST)
