Industrial Safety and Environmental Manager

Responsibilities

• Implement industrial safety and environmental work systems to ensure legal compliance and protect human and material resources.
• Coordinate and ensure compliance with legal requirements to avoid administrative sanctions and safeguard personnel and facilities.
• Manage the deployment of plant-level training programs for industrial safety and environmental self-management.
• Develop and promote safety awareness through communication campaigns and continuous training.
• Coordinate the integration and training of emergency response brigades.
• Provide safety and environmental recommendations for the installation of new projects.
• Attend inspections from authorities (PROFEPA, STPS, SEMARNAT, SEMADET) and ensure the closure of required actions.
• Ensure product quality and legality by maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in related fields.
• Degree in Industrial, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
• Advanced knowledge in the administration of Industrial Safety and Environmental systems.
• Deep understanding of STPS, CNA, and SEMARNAT regulations.
• Intermediate knowledge of PROFEPA Clean Industry Certification and STPS Self-management Certification programs.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of SAP.
• Intermediate English skills (written, reading, and speaking).
