About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and advise on employee and industrial relations matters across the business
  • Guide managers through misconduct, incapacity, poor performance, and grievance processes
  • Ensure disciplinary and grievance procedures are fair, compliant, and consistently applied
  • Support CCMA cases and external labour processes
  • Provide advice on labour legislation, company policies, and best practice
  • Identify trends and proactively reduce employee relations risk
  • Support the development and rollout of IR policies, frameworks, and training

Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ experience in an Industrial Relations or Employee Relations role
  • Solid working knowledge of South African labour legislation
  • Experience managing disciplinary processes
  • Strong judgement, emotional intelligence, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Confident communicator who can influence at all levels
  • Ability to remain calm, fair, and solutions-focused in sensitive situations
