About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the introduction and continuous development of manufacturing processes in electronics production, including analysis, documentation, and project management.
- Act as a technological interface between development and series production to implement new process technologies both internally and externally.
- Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes, machinery, and workstations in collaboration with production and design departments to ensure lean and efficient workflows.
- Evaluate the manufacturability of assemblies and technologies regarding series readiness and support investment decisions for machinery and equipment.
- Participate in the selection and development of suppliers and serve as a technical contact for troubleshooting to ensure smooth production.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Production Engineering) or Natural Sciences.
- Several years of professional experience in technology development or operational process support within electronics manufacturing.
- Strong methodological competence in quality management tools such as APQP, FMEA, DOE, or Six Sigma.
- Fluent proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of specific technologies such as SMT (Surface Mount Technology), PCB technology, machining, or surface cleaning/coating.
