Industrial Plant Mechanic/Welder

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to structural and non-structural equipment
• Execute welding repairs and prefab work
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures to ensure safety
• Inspect equipment for damage or leaks and report findings
• Maintain maintenance supply inventories
• Assist plant personnel with production when needed
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and tool storage
• Report dust emissions, fluid spills, or leaks
• Prioritize mill service vehicle assistance
• Coordinate with suppliers for part ordering and quotes

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Welding experience with relevant tickets
• Industrial Mechanic experience
• Ability to maintain welding or trade certificates
