About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and supervise detailed production plans for space projects, including task sequencing, resource allocation, and time estimation.
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure availability of materials, tools, and personnel.
- Monitor production progress, identify deviations from plans, and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
- Manage and optimize MAIT (Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration, and Testing) workflows to improve processes and reduce cycle times.
- Control component and work-in-progress inventories to balance availability with cost efficiency.
- Generate production performance reports, analyzing key metrics and providing recommendations to management.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety procedures throughout all production stages.
Requirements
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in industrial planning and production control within high-tech environments, preferably in aerospace or defense.
- Deep knowledge of planning and production methodologies, specifically MRP and SAP.
- Proficiency in project management and planning software such as MS Project, SAP PP, or Primavera P6.
- Advanced fluency in English (both spoken and written) is essential.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
