Industrial Painter

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial painting and coatings work using spray guns and manual application techniques
• Conduct surface preparation activities including power washing on interior and exterior surfaces
• Apply industrial coatings and floor striping at heights using lifts or ladders
• Maintain painting equipment and tools in proper working order
• Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts
• Perform minor drywall and building repairs
• Comply with OSHA and HazMat procedures for the storage and handling of materials
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment following all safety protocols

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the US on an unrestricted basis
• Ability to work at heights using ladders or lifts
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 15-45 pounds
• Ability to wear a respirator and comply with OSHA respiratory requirements
• Ability to work 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 12:30 AM, Monday - Thursday)

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional painting experience
• Prior experience operating a paint spray gun
• Demonstrated knowledge of various paint application techniques and material selection
• Flexibility to work overtime or occasional weekends if needed
