Industrial Molding Process Performance Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of technical content in plastics engineering, robotics, and automation.
• Formalize and automate strategic industrial databases for machines, overhead cranes, and material handling systems.
• Consolidate project data (cycle times, energy savings, etc.) into a centralized database to extract key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct trials with the R&I department on the RIM process to develop industrial know-how.
• Prepare generic process FMEAs, improve technical specifications, and formalize detailed test reports.
• Plan and conduct Design of Experiments (DoE) to optimize process parameters when necessary.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) in Plastics Engineering.
• Advanced level of English (C1).
• Strong knowledge of thermoplastic injection molding.
• Basic skills in Moldflow numerical simulation and polymer characterization (FTIR, microscopy, DSC, MFI, etc.).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI (intermediate level).
• Knowledge of VBA, programming, and 2D/3D CAD (intermediate level).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
