Industrial Mechanic with Dual Study Program

Responsibilities

• Complete a dual apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic combined with a mechanical engineering degree at FH Iserlohn
• Learn the fundamentals of the profession in an inter-company training workshop
• Work within the assembly department to learn the production of machines and systems from start to finish
• Gain hands-on experience with cold rolling mills, belt systems, assembly of components, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Apply theoretical knowledge from studies to practical industrial applications

Requirements

• High school diploma (Hochschulreife or Fachhochschulreife)
• Good grades in mathematics, technology, and physics
• Ability to balance the dual workload of vocational training and university studies
• Team player with a reliable work ethic
• Interest in technical mechanics (e.g., repairing bicycles or mechanical devices)
