About the role
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, multimeters, and meggers to diagnose components like contactors, relays, and sensors
- Maintain, install, and troubleshoot VFDs, programmable sensors, SCADA, HMI, and PLCs
- Inspect, repair, and replace mechanical components including motors, gearboxes, drive chains, bearings, and conveyor belts
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including cylinders, proportional valves, and pumps
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment dependability and minimize downtime
- Provide emergency unscheduled repairs and dismantle machinery according to technical plans
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in electromechanics, industrial electrician roles, or a relevant field
- Proven experience working with both electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in troubleshooting 480vAC, 120vAC, 24vDC, and 4-20mA systems
- Experience with VFD drives such as SEW, Siemens, Lenze, or Allen Bradley
- Ability to use testing equipment including multimeters, meggers, and oscilloscopes
- Heavy industrial mechanical repair skills; experience with rigging, welding, or fabrication is a plus
