Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)

Responsibilities

• Perform precision service, diagnostic repair, and overhaul of high-speed separators, decanter rotating assemblies, and gearboxes
• Execute full lifecycle servicing including disassembly, industrial cleaning, precision fitting, and balancing
• Utilize manual lathes, milling machines, and welding techniques to refurbish components to exact specifications
• Interpret engineered drawings and technical manuals to ensure repairs meet ISO 9001 quality standards
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to safely maneuver heavy industrial rotating assemblies
• Maintain strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols and PPE requirements

Requirements

• Certified Journeyman Millwright or Industrial Machinist
• Proven experience with rotating equipment or high-speed industrial machinery
• Proficiency in using manual lathes, milling machines, and hand grinding tools
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineered drawings
• Skilled in the operation of forklifts and overhead cranes
• Competence in Microsoft Office and web-based applications for reporting
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Flexibility to work overtime and varied shifts to meet service deadlines
