Industrial Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service pumps, apparatus, and piping systems within the electrolysis plant
• Repair machine and plant components including fans, compressors, and heat exchangers
• Perform independent preventive maintenance to minimize production downtime and ensure plant availability
• Respond to technical malfunctions and implement optimization measures as instructed
• Fabricate spare parts such as brackets and sheet metal components according to technical drawings
• Collaborate closely with electricians and process engineers to ensure operational safety

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an Industrial Mechanic, Machine Fitter, Plant Mechanic, or a comparable profession
• Proven professional experience in the maintenance of chemical plants
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP
• Strong sense of safety awareness and a structured, independent working style
• Ability to participate in weekend on-call shifts
• Physical fitness and suitability to wear respiratory and chemical protection suits
