Industrial Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning industrial equipment
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and lubrication of machines
• Perform electrical and instrumentation repairs within scope of ability
• Install new equipment and modify existing machinery as assigned
• Operate shop machining equipment to repair and fabricate components
• Comply with all QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) practices and rules
• Maintain accurate service forms and documentation
• Act as a crew leader occasionally during major projects

Requirements

• Red Seal Certified Millwright (Millwright apprentices will also be considered)
• Experience with electrical and instrumentation repair
• Proficiency in preventative maintenance and equipment troubleshooting
• Ability to operate shop machining equipment
• Commitment to strict safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment
