Industrial Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, adjustments, alignments, and servicing of equipment including conveyors, grinders, shredders, and hydraulic systems
• Diagnose mechanical issues, breakdowns, and failures
• Inspect for wear and repair or replace defective parts and components
• Test repaired equipment to verify performance and compliance
• Assist in troubleshooting to improve equipment efficiency
• Carry out installation and upgrades of new machines
• Complete work orders and follow up as necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health & safety (SST) policies

Requirements

• Strong experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment (conveyors, grinders, shredders, hydraulic systems, etc.)
• Ability to diagnose mechanical failures and perform necessary repairs
• Skilled in testing equipment to ensure performance standards
• Knowledge of safety protocols and workplace cleanliness
• Ability to collaborate on problem-solving
