Industrial Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, adjustment, alignment, and upkeep of equipment including conveyors, crushers, shredders, vibrating tables, hydraulic systems, and presses
• Diagnose mechanical anomalies, breakdowns, and failures
• Inspect part wear, repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
• Test repaired equipment to verify performance and compliance
• Collaborate on problem-solving related to equipment efficiency and improvement
• Carry out installation and upgrade work for new machinery or equipment
• Complete work orders and perform necessary follow-ups
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in compliance with SST policies and company procedures

Requirements

• Solid experience in maintenance, repair, and adjustment of mechanical equipment (conveyors, crushers, shredders, hydraulic systems, etc.)
• Ability to diagnose mechanical anomalies and perform repairs or replacements
• Competence in testing equipment to ensure performance standards are met
• Ability to collaborate on technical problem-solving
• Knowledge of safety protocols and occupational health and safety (SST) regulations
