Industrial Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and maintenance of heavy industrial equipment including cranes, compressed air systems, and overhead doors
• Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and work instructions
• Maintain and install electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns
• Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades
• Source replacement parts and liaise with vendors
• Repair plumbing for compressed air, water, or hydraulic systems
• Assist HVAC team with building climate control during workload surges

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 3+ years of professional experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, mechanical, fluid, or control systems
• Ability to work 2nd shift (Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday, 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM)
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. unassisted and work at elevated heights
• Ability to become forklift certified

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience troubleshooting electrical control systems
• 2+ years of experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs and VFDs
• 2+ years of experience maintaining compressed air systems
• Knowledge of HVAC, pneumatic principles, and rotating machinery
• Experience with AC/DC electrical systems and aerospace environments
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
