Industrial Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and repair on electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Analyze and repair equipment to ensure machine productivity and quality after repairs or changeovers
• Read and interpret technical procedures, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and report findings to management
• Execute electrical corrections using knowledge of drives and PLCs
• Complete work orders and update the maintenance tracking system
• Respond quickly to safety concerns or immediate dangers to prevent employee injury

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Electrical apprenticeship and/or vocational school/technology certificate in electricity
• 5 years of electrical technical hands-on experience, including wiring automation machine control panels and PLCs
• Strong knowledge of 480 volts and troubleshooting electrical issues
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics and apply NEC requirements
• Experience with MIG or arc welding
• Proficiency with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pumps, valves, and cylinders
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and scissor lifts
• Experience with lathe operation
