About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide service and maintenance for multiple cyclotrons, associated chemistry modules, and manipulator arms.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal uptime for site cyclotron systems.
- Work in compliance with all regulatory standards including EH&S, cGMP, Radiation Safety, and pharmacy laws.
- Respond to service calls and complete work history tickets, timecards, and expense reports in a timely fashion.
- Manage spare parts usage and schedule work to minimize costs and maximize effectiveness.
- Participate in personnel training, staff development, and routine biomarker production as needed.
- Work the primary afternoon/night shift (6:00 PM to 2:30 AM), with flexibility required for alternative shifts and weekends.
Requirements
- Proven experience with 3-phase electrical systems.
- Strong experience troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical schematics.
- Experience working with low and high voltage systems.
- Knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) and vacuum systems.
- Basic plumbing experience.
- Proficiency with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and perform makeshift changes when necessary.
