Industrial Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform curative, corrective, and preventive maintenance on industrial production equipment and packaging lines.
• Assist production teams with machine adjustments, restarts, and fault diagnostics.
• Identify malfunctions, analyze root causes, and contribute to the efficient restoration of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of interventions using CMMS (GMAO) software.
• Adhere strictly to QSE, ISO 22000, food hygiene, and safety lockout/tagout procedures.
• Gradually expand technical scope from packaging lines to utilities, buildings, and other industrial perimeters.

Requirements

• Bac Pro or BTS in Industrial Maintenance, Electrotechnics, or a related technical field.
• Solid foundational knowledge of industrial electricity, including circuit diagrams and wiring logic.
• Basic understanding of Siemens automation (TIA Portal, S7-1200/S7-1500, Ladder, or PROFINET).
• Ability to work in a 3x8 shift rotation (morning, afternoon, and night shifts).
• Willingness to work on-site in Thuir and participate in an on-call rotation (approximately 5-6 weeks per year).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure in a production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience through an apprenticeship, internship, or first professional role in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, or hydraulics.
• Experience with machine settings and adjustments.
