Industrial Maintenance Technician (Millwright)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair industrial food manufacturing equipment including fryers, ovens, packaging machines, and boilers
• Execute and document Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans and respond to emergency repairs
• Lead or support the installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Organize and track tools, materials, and spare parts inventory
• Follow all plant safety, USDA, SQF, and GMP guidelines

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant technical experience
• Proficiency in technical disciplines such as welding, machining, electrical work, or millwrighting
• Strong mechanical intuition and ability to troubleshoot complex systems
• Ability to operate with high attention to detail and safety awareness (Lockout/tag out, PPE)
• Computer literacy for emails and documentation
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and work in industrial production environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in industrial food manufacturing or similar environments (pharmaceutical, cosmetics)
• Background as an auto mechanic, electrician, HVAC technician, or machinist
• Graduate of a vocational or technical trade program
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Knowledge of electronics and control systems
