Industrial Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of site mechanical, electrical, and control systems for facility, utility, and production equipment.
• Utilize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices on all site systems.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and standard operating procedures.
• Assist with the installation, modification, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Manage spare parts inventory in compliance with company procedures.
• Document all work performed and parts used within the company CMMS (LAMP).
• Ensure compliance with all EHS rules and quality standards during all maintenance activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
• Proven experience working in manufacturing, chemical, or petrochemical environments.
• Ability to work multiple shifts, including weekends, rotating shifts, or supplemental hours.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical diploma or Associate Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance.
• Experience with PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting (Mitsubishi GX-Works 3 & Pro-face GP-PRO EX preferred).
• Familiarity with industrial automation, robotics, and process control systems.
• Understanding of industry codes and standards such as API, ASME, or ISO.
• Certifications in electrical, mechanical, or instrumentation trades (e.g., NETA, NFPA 70E/70B, ISA).
• Experience with plant utility systems including chillers, compressors, HVAC, and substation equipment.
• Experience using predictive maintenance practices like vibration analysis, oil analysis, or infrared.
