About the role
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment
- Perform detailed equipment setup including recipe changes and control adjustments
- Execute mechanical preventative maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, and photo eyes
- Troubleshoot PLC inputs and outputs
- Maintain and repair pneumatic systems including cylinders
- Monitor spare parts usage and complete order forms
- Train Level 1 mechanics in complex tasks
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics
- Intermediate knowledge of fabrication such as welding or basic machining
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Availability for regular standby assignments and emergency overtime
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in a related field
