Industrial Maintenance Technician II

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments
• Repair and maintain mechanical machine components
• Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, and photo eyes
• Troubleshoot PLC inputs and outputs
• Maintain and repair pneumatic systems including cylinders
• Perform mechanical Preventative Maintenance tasks
• Enter work completed in computer-based maintenance program (CMMS)
• Monitor and report spare parts usage
• Train technicians in complex tasks and supervise direct reports

Requirements

• Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 3-10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and CMMS systems
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics
• Intermediate knowledge of fabrication such as welding or basic machining
• Availability for regular standby assignments and emergency overtime
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
