Industrial Maintenance Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency and preventative repairs to plant machinery and infrastructure
• Minimize production time losses associated with equipment failure
• Manage maintenance supplies and provide replenishment information
• Develop and review standard operating procedures for maintenance functions
• Maintain clean and safe maintenance work areas
• Operate electrical testing equipment including VOM and non-contact voltage testers
• Handle, dispense, and apply various types of lubricants
• Perform welding, brazing, soldering, and metal cutting tasks
• Use lifting equipment such as block and tackle, chain hoists, and winches
• Inspect and assemble scaffolding and heavy lifting hardware

Requirements

• 2+ years of maintenance experience
• Associate Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Training in LOTO, Electrical/Mechanical Safe Work Practices, and Fall Protection
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually
• Proficiency with basic PC skills
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TPM initiatives
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic valve configurations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
