Industrial Maintenance Technician I

Responsibilities

• Operate the Separator Plant for material processing and selection
• Control the operation of belts and classification screens to prevent obstructions
• Perform metallic content tests to ensure material quality
• Inspect equipment daily, including rollers, belts, chutes, and electrical installations
• Execute welding tasks using coated electrodes, addition/fusion welding, and oxy-acetylene cutting
• Perform specialized welding such as MIG, MAG, TIG, plasma, and submerged arc
• Execute mechanical maintenance according to technical manuals and maintenance plans
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment components
• Perform painting and conservation of equipment and building structures
• Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment, and the work area

Requirements

• Experience in industrial maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, MAG, TIG, etc.)
• Ability to perform oxy-acetylene cutting
• Knowledge of mechanical component disassembly and assembly
• Ability to follow technical manuals and operational procedures
• Commitment to using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safety standards
