Industrial Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Schedule and provide emergency or unscheduled repairs of production equipment
• Perform scheduled maintenance and machinery setup for production runs
• Assign work orders to the team for timely maintenance and service
• Enforce safety rules regarding hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical apparatus
• Evaluate machinery and building states to recommend improvements or upgrades
• Install and repair electrical equipment including generators, transformers, and motors
• Use welding, arc, acetylene, and brazing equipment for repairs
• Diagnose and correct electrical system troubles and perform visual inspections
• Follow preventive maintenance programs and maintain building facilities
• Provide coaching, counseling, and direction to maintenance staff

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Mechanical Technician in industrial manufacturing
• Experience with pneumatic and mechanical systems
• Medium voltage troubleshooting and repair (480 VAC, 750VDC)
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, NEC, and OSHA standards
• Proficiency with PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs
• Experience with hydraulics, motors, and motor controls
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical manuals
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Transformers maintenance and testing
• Knowledge of communication protocols like Ethernet, ControlNet, and Device Net
• Experience with Analog Circuits and Motor Control Centers (MCCs)
