Industrial Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform service, repair, and preventive maintenance on industrial machines, pneumatic systems, and electronic control systems to ensure manufacturing uptime.
• Diagnose equipment failures using root-cause analysis and troubleshoot using multi-meters, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) to minimize unplanned downtime and maintain equipment longevity.
• Repair and maintain mechanical components including motors, conveyors, gearboxes, and drive trains.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic circuits, valves, solenoids, and cylinders.
• Diagnose control circuits, sensors, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair reports, and inventory of replacement parts.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including OSHA standards and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical/pneumatic schematics, and manuals.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• Experience with pneumatic and electronic systems.
• Ability to use precision-measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical or vocational training in a related field.
• Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance environments.
• Basic understanding of PLC logic for hardware and software fault diagnosis.
