Industrial Maintenance Reliability Tech

Responsibilities

• Proactively maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, robotic/automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.
• Perform effective troubleshooting on PLC programs and modify logic as required.
• Conduct thorough root cause analysis to implement corrective actions and minimize repeat failures.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to eliminate unplanned equipment downtime.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Maintain high safety standards by identifying risks and complying with all safety policies and NFPA 70E standards.
• Collaborate with operations personnel to resolve equipment issues impacting safety, quality, or productivity.

Requirements

• High school diploma, preferably with a vocational focus.
• Proven experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics, including PLC program logic.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety standards.
• Proficiency with CMMS and standard Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field.
• Equivalent military experience in a technical capacity.
• Experience with welding, machining, or fabrication.
• Extensive experience in industrial maintenance (4–10+ years depending on seniority level).
