Industrial Maintenance Mechanic III - Plumber

Responsibilities

• Lay out, construct, install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including water, drain lines, and fire sprinkler systems
• Perform planned and preventative maintenance on building equipment and related services
• Troubleshoot and repair fixtures and systems in a manufacturing environment
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of underground sewer and water systems
• Develop and implement planned maintenance procedures and maintain spare parts inventory
• Respond to work orders and provide service feedback to customers while ensuring compliance with codes and regulations
• Safely perform functions using lockout/tagout procedures and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Operate various measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments to improve equipment performance

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years of maintenance experience in Industrial HVAC, Industrial Mechanical Machine Repair, or Automotive Repair
• Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights of 30 feet or higher
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer use
• Ability to climb ladders and perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, and kneeling
• Ability to pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree or trade school certification in Industrial Mechanical, HVAC, or a related field
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial facility mechanical equipment, such as vacuum systems and RO/DI water systems
• Experience working safely with 480 volt 3 phase electrical systems
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing large commercial or industrial HVAC/R equipment
• Experience working within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) environment
